Privacy Policy

First Capitol Gutters (firstcapitolgutters.com) is a local referral service: we connect homeowners in St. Charles and St. Charles County with independent local gutter professionals. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Quote requests. When you submit the form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, and the details of your request.
• Phone calls. The number on this site is a call tracking number. When you call, we log your phone number, the time of the call, and its duration. If you leave a voicemail, your message is recorded so your request can be reviewed and handled. If your call is connected directly to a local professional, the conversation itself is not recorded.
• Spam screening. We may look up basic technical details about a calling number (such as line type and carrier) to filter out robocalls and spam. This lookup uses only the phone number itself.
• Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across other sites or build a profile of you. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: handling your request. That means recording it, screening out spam, and referring it - your contact details and what you asked for - to an independent local professional who serves the St. Charles area so they can follow up with you. We also use call and request volume, with no personal details attached, to understand demand for local services.

What we share, and what we don't

Your request and contact information are shared with the independent local professional who handles gutter work in this area. The infrastructure providers that run this site process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, analytics, bot protection) and Twilio (call handling). We do not sell your information to data brokers, add you to marketing lists, or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep records of requests and calls as long as they are needed to operate the service and maintain accurate business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by calling (636) 246-0608 and leaving a message with your name and number. If you prefer not to submit a form, you can always just call.

Children

This site offers home services and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
